Posted on: 09/23/2014

Horizon Yachts has announced that they will debut the Horizon PC52 power catamaran ‘Pomboo’ and showcase an E88 motor yacht ‘Missing Card III’, PC60 power catamaran ‘Sanctuary’ and the 2007 Horizon 85ft motor yacht ‘Nine Stars’ at the 2014 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), taking place from 30thOctober to 3rd November; all yachts can be viewed at the Horizon Yacht USA display on Bahia Mar F Dock, slips 600-604.

Born out of the success of the Horizon PC60 model, the PC52 retains the signature modern lines, large interior volume, high-quality finish and sea-keeping abilities of the PC series; ‘Pomboo’ features a 22ft beam and standard three-stateroom layout below deck. The main deck offers a galley with breakfast bar, salon and storage. The exterior areas are dedicated to entertaining, with a helm and dinette on the open bridge and an expansive aft deck area with a dinette and wet bar.

One of four Horizon E88 motor yachts sold in the US this summer, ‘Missing Card III’ was purchased by her owner near the end of her build. Per her new owner’s request, this E88 offers three guest staterooms, including an enlarged master suite. Her 21ft beam and total 94ft LOA gave the owners room to add some additional custom features, such as a desk in the pilothouse as well as a seating area and bar on the aft flybridge. The owners worked with Horizon’s in-house design team on personalising the interior décor. This is also the first Horizon E88 motor yacht in the US that incorporates a flexible beach club area at the back, complete with a hydraulic garage door and Hi/Lo swim platform. The yacht is equipped with CAT C32 1800 HP engines, zero speed stabilisers and bow/stern thrusters. The Horizon 85’ motor yacht ‘Nine Stars’ was built in 2007 and offers four guest staterooms; aft crew quarters; zero speed stabilisers; CAT 1925HP engines and enclosed bridge.

‘Sanctuary’ is hull nine of the Horizon PC60 power catamaran model and was also built for US owners who plan to cruise her in the Bahamas and Florida. She features the standard three-stateroom layout with an on-deck master and her open bridge and spacious aft deck are ideal for island traveling, a popular past-time for this power catamaran model.
