Andy Warhol artwork on board M/Y Ocean Sapphire
Floating Life in collaboration with Forte Village and Art Events Mazzoleni is pleased to announce that from 3rd to 7th August, M/Y Ocean Sapphire, the futuristic 41m yacht designed by Foster & Partners, was moored at the Forte Village Resort for an exclusive top client charter.
Forte Village, which was voted the best vacation hotel in the world for 16 consecutive years, overlooks the crystalline waters of the southern Sardinian coast. Lucky guests enjoyed delicious dinners alongside the eighth running of the special art exhibition Summer Art 2014 in the Forte Village by Art Events Mazzoleni. 20 original works of Andy Warhol were featured among the 160 on exhibit by 24 Italian artists chosen by art director Mario Mazzoleni.
The program began with the cruise from Cagliari to Forte Village by the superyacht Ocean Sapphire. From 4thto 6th August, a tender was available for a maximum number of 16 clients each evening. Once aboard M/Y Ocean Sapphire, the guests were able to tour the yacht and admire the art on display. Appetizers, specially prepared by the Forte Village chefs, were accompanied by the prestigious limited edition Spumante Floating Life.
The event ended on 7th August when the works of art were brought ashore and M/Y Ocean Sapphire departed for her new destination in the Mediterranean.
