This museum was created by Arthur O. Stone. Within its walls, you will find 22 rare Packards, as well as many other classic cars that you rarely see on the road these days.

3. Fort Lauderdale Beaches

Like the Bonnet House, the Stranahan House Museum gives visitors a glimpse into another time. This particular home was built by an Ohio businessman in 1901. A successful ferry owner, Frank Stranahan built his home directly on a canal where he operated his business.

The home is full of Victorian-era furniture that has been with the home since it was constructed.

5. African-American Research Library and Cultural Center

For visitors who wish to experience some of America's rich African American history, try visiting the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center.

This library is one of four in the country and contains 85,000 books, art galleries and several exhibits that contain historical clothing and memorabilia. The cultural center will often feature jazz concerts, so be sure to explore their event calendar.

6. Jungle Queen Riverboats

Have you ever wanted to ride on a historic riverboat?

Well, visit Fort Lauderdale and you could get your chance! The Jungle Queen Riverboats is one of the most famous cruises in the world. It has been in operation since 1935.

These tours take you along the river which gives you a chance to see some beautiful historic homes and Fort Lauderdale's gorgeous plant life.
